The MSUD Newsletter – A Community Tradition 

For many years, the MSUD Family Support Group Newsletter has been one of our most valued traditions. Published twice a year, the newsletter connects families, researchers, and supporters across the globe with updates, resources, and personal stories.  

• Fall Edition – Printed and mailed to the MSUD community – preserving the tradition of a tangible keepsake. We also email it to those in our community that wish to read it electronically.
• Spring Edition – Distributed by email only, keeping families connected with timely news and stories. 

Our newsletter is made possible through the dedication of volunteer editor, Susan Needleman, who works under the guidance of our Executive Director, Denise L. Kolivoski, MBA, to bring each issue to life. Together, they ensure that the voices of the MSUD community are heard and celebrated. 

How Can You Get Involved in the Newsletter? 

We want the newsletter to be more than just information—it’s a way for every member of our community to take action, share experiences, and strengthen connections. Here are some ways you can help: 

• Submit Story Ideas – Suggest articles about family experiences, milestones, or challenges you’ve overcome.
• Share Your Voice – Contribute articles or reflections as an MSUD individual, transplant recipient, or family member.
• Provide Photos & Memories – Send photos from family life, camps, or events that highlight the spirit of our community.
• Suggest Resources – Recommend books, guides, or supports that could help others in the MSUD journey.
